NIOH 3 Boss Hub

Here is the NIOH 3 Boss Hub which will give you a look at every boss in the third instalment of the NIOH series and there are more bosses in this game than any other game I have played and that includes the incredibly boss heavy Black Myth Wukong.

This Guide Contains:

Bosses are the mainstay in a game like NIOH 3 and it gets to the point where you can’t get away from seeing a Yokai’s health bar pop up at the top of the screen and you needing to take them down be it as part of a main mission, sub mission, myth, out in the World as you play through the Eras or Masters who are elite tier enemies. Some missions have multiple bosses and some missions are set up to be boss rush rushes.

NIOH 3 Bosses

NIOH 3 is broken down across 5 different Eras, 3 Open World style Eras and 2 mission based Eras one of which, 1622 CE Edo is one that changes considerably as you make your way through the game. You start off in Edo then by the end of the game Edo has morphed into the heart of the Crucinite and takes the castle up into the heavens. There, in total, 153 Bosses to bring down throughout your first playthrough of NIOH 3, some are optional others are mandatory but all of them will drop gear, Amrita and potentially a Soul Core.

Given the sheer number of boss in NIOH 3 I have broken the guides down into the following 5 categories each of which holds detailed, locations, guides and advice on how to bring them all down:

  1. Eternal Rift + 1622 CE Edo Era.
  2. 1572 CE Warring States Bosses.
  3. 1190 CE Heian Bosses.
  4. 1864 CE Bakumatsu Bosses.
  5. 1622 CE Return to Edo Bosses.

Eternal Rift + 1622 Edo Era

The Eternal Rift holds several Training Missions with 5 of them having boss fights inside of them, there is also an Era called 1622 CE Return to Edo where you fight a Mezuki followed by Tokugawa Kunimatsu in the Light of Hope Story Mission. Refer to the 1622 CE Edo Walkthrough for the Training Missions and then refer to the Light of Hope Story Mission for the other 2 bosses making 7 in total in the first 2 iterations of the Edo and Eternal Rift timelines.

1572 CE Warring States Bosses

There are 43 bosses you can take down throughout the Warring States some of which being optional whilst the majority of the bosses are essential if you’re looking at getting the 100% on NIOH 3. Refer to the NIOH 3 1572 CE Warring States bosses to see where you can find them and how to take them down.

1864 CE Bakumatsu

There are 43 bosses you can take down throughout the Bakumatsu Era with a lot of bosses being mandatory whilst there are also a good number of optional bosses you can take on as well and as the Bakumatsu Era is a very challenging place you will need to use all of your skills if you want to take them all down. Refer to the NIOH 3 1864 CE Bakumatsu bosses to see where you can find them all and how to take them down.

1622 CE Final Battle Of Edo

There are 30 Bosses found in the Final Battle of Edo Era, 7 are found within the A Sinister End Story Mission with the remaining 23 being located throughout the 6 brutally challenging Sub Missions which won’t become available until you’re in the post game.
