Here is the Black Myth Wukong Chapter 1 walkthrough which will help you work through the first chapter in the game without missing any of the important elements you should be focusing on as well as guiding you through the order the bosses and enemies should be taken down which might seem counter-intuitive at first as I will have you going pass some bosses and then back to the later, this is purely due to how difficult they can be and having those extra abilities, Sparks. combat knowledge and upgrades can help significantly.

Harvest Jade Lotus
Location: Black Wind Mountain.
Jade Lotus is a Flower which looks like a yellow flower amongst green Lilly-Pads found in or near water. You need to harvest as much Jade Lotus as you can until you receive Jade Lotus Seeds which counts towards Seeds to Sow.
Collect Skandha Of Form
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Forest of Wolves, Front Hills.
Follow the river travelling downstream before getting to the Bullguard boss where you will see a Monkey examining a Stone Head, go to the Stone Head and interact with it to receive the Skandha of Form. Counts towards unlocking the Giant Shigandang boss.
Bullguard
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Forest of Wolves, Front Hills.
Bullguard is a mandatory story boss who won’t pose much of a challenge. Refer to the Bullguard boss guide.
Immobilize Spell
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Forest of Wolves, Front Hills.
You will receive the Immobilize Mysticism Spell from the Keeper of Black Wind Mountain when you bring the Bullguard boss down to half health. Counts towards Master of Magic.
Meditation Spot
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Forest of Wolves, Front Hills.
Once the Bullguard boss has been defeated go up the hill then over to the right to the dilapidated building where you will find the Meditation Spot over looking the valley below. Counts towards Scenic Seeker.
Ginsengling
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Forest of Wolves, Outside the Forest.
Head to the far East of the Outside the Forest area just to the left of the Guanzhi boss arena you will see a red flower you can interact with, upon doing so you will spawn Ginsengling who you need to defeat in order to collect its Portrait. Counts towards Portraits Perfected.
Bandit Chief
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Forest of Wolves, Outside the Forest.
Once you have taken down the Ginsengling, go up the hill where the Bandit Chief will start attacking you. Put him down which counts towards Portraits Perfected.
Pilgrim's Headband
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Forest of Wolves, Guanyin Temple.
Use the Shrine when the Keeper of Black Wind Mountain warns you about Lingxuzi, select the Craft option in the Shrine and Craft the Pilgrim’s Headband which counts towards the Headgear Armour which in turn counts towards Mantled with Might.
Lingxuzi
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Forest of Wolves, Guanyin Temple.
Defeat the Lingxuzi boss. Refer to the Lingxuzi boss guide.
Grey Wolf Mask
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Forest of Wolves, Guanyin Temple.
You will receive the Grey Wolf Mask when you defeat Lingxuzi. Counts towards the Headgear Armour which in turn counts towards Mantled with Might.
Celestial Jade Lotus Pill
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Forest of Wolves, Guanyin Temple.
Once the Lingxuzi boss has been defeated go to the exit of the arena and loot the golden urn on the left table to receive the Celestial Jade Lotus Pill. Counts towards the Celestial Jade Lotus Pills that increase your maximum Health, Mana and Stamina..
Ma Tianba
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Back Hills.
Go down the hill from the Back Hills shrine then take an immediate left up the hill and into the cavern. Go over to the right side of the cavern and speak with Ma Tianba, the large Horse NPC ensuring you exhaust his dialogue. Counts towards Urge Unfulfilled.
Meditation Spot 2
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Back Hills.
Look in the centre of the cavern where you spoke to Ma Tianba to find this Meditation Spot.
The Blessed Gourd
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Snake Trail.
Climb the stairs from the Snake Trail shrine then go right into the first cut out to find the Old Man, speak with him to receive the Blessed Gourd which allows you to absorb Spirits.
Speak With The Old Man
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Snake Trail.
Once you have The Blessed Gourd speak with the Old Man until he repeats himself which means you have exhausted his dialogue. Counts towards Always Accompanied.
Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Snake Trail.
Go pass the 3 Snake Skeletons then drop down to the right of the slope into the water, turn right then go forward into the Marshland taking out the Toads then defeat the Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang boss. Refer to the Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang boss guide.
Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang Spirit
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Snake Trail.
Once you have defeated Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang ensure you collect the Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang Spirit. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Guangmou
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Snake Trail.
Head through to South of the Snake Trail biome and defeat the Guangmou boss. Refer to the Guangmou boss guide.
Guangmou Spirit
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Snake Trail.
Once you have defeated the Guangmou boss ensure you collect the Guangmou Spirit. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Ring The Bell
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Snake Trail.
Go behind the boss arena where you defeated the Guangmou boss and interact with the Bell to ring it. Counts towards Temple of Taint.
Luoija Fragrant Vine
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Marsh of White Mist.
Go to the Marsh of White Mist shrine then turn around and go behind the rocks to find a Luoija Fragrant Vine hanging from the tree. Use this to upgrade your Gourd uses with Shen Monkey.
Guanzhi
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Forest of Wolves, Outside the Forest.
Backtrack to the Outside the Forest shrine then run straight ahead to the Guanzhi boss arena and defeat him which will be easier now you have access to both the Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang and Guangmou Spirits. Refer to the Guanzhi boss guide.
Red Tides Transformation
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Forest of Wolves, Outside the Forest.
Once you have defeated the Guanzhi boss ensure you collect his weapon to unlock the Red Tides Transformation which counts towards Fickle Forms.
Ring Bell 2
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Forest of Wolves, Outside the Forest.
Once you have defeated the Guanzhi boss go to the back of the arena and ring the bell. Counts towards Temple of Taint.
Wandering Wight
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Forest of Wolves, Outside the Forest.
Now that you have the Red Tides Transformation and either the Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang and Guangmou Spirits you should be strong enough to take down the Wandering Wight boss. Just note that if you leave the Wandering Wight and defeat the Elder Jinchi boss then you will miss out on several trophies until new game+. Refer to the Wandering Wight boss guide.
Cat Eye Beads Curios
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Forest of Wolves, Outside the Forest.
You will receive the Cat Eye Beads Curios when you defeat the Wandering Wight boss. Counts towards A Curious Collection.
Wandering Wight Spirit
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Forest of Wolves, Outside the Forest.
Ensure you collect the Wandering Wight Spirit once you have defeated the Wandering Wight boss. which incidentally is one of the best Spirits in the game and also one you need to reveal some secret areas later on in Black Myth Wukong. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Rescue Shen Monkey
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Marsh of White Mist.
Go down the ramp and defeat the Serpent who is intimidating the Shen Monkey. With the Serpent dead follow Shen Monkey in to the cave.
Upgrade Gourd
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Marsh of White Mist.
Now that you have access to the Shen Monkey, choose to Upgrade your Gourd which will require a Luoija Frangrant Vine.
Celestial Lotus Seeds Soak
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Marsh of White Mist.
Choose the Store option at the Shen Monkey then choose to purchase the Celestial Lotus Seeds Soak. Counts towards Brewer’s Bounty.
Whiteclad Noble
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Marsh of White Mist.
Head down the ramp to the water where you will need to take on and defeat the first 2 phase boss, the Whiteclad Noble who can be a challenge. Refer to the Whiteclad Noble boss guide.
Craft The Twin Serpents Staff
Location: Black Wind Mountain, any Shrine.
Craft the Twin Serpents Staff at the Shrine once you have defeated the Whiteclad Noble. Counts towards Staffs and Spears.
Craft The Serpentscale Battlerobe
Location: Black Wind Mountain, any Shrine.
Craft the Serpentscale Battlerobe at the Shrine once you have defeated the Whiteclad Noble. Counts towards Mantled with Might.
Craft The Serpentscale Bracers
Location: Black Wind Mountain, any Shrine.
Craft the Serpentscale Bracers at the Shrine once you have defeated the Whiteclad Noble. Counts towards Mantled with Might.
Craft The Serpentscale Gaiters
Location: Black Wind Mountain, any Shrine.
Craft the Serpentscale Gaiters once you have defeated the Whiteclad Noble. Counts towards Mantled with Might.
Ring Bell 3
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Marsh of White Mist.
Go left from the Whiteclad Noble boss arena, take out the Wolves then ring the bell which takes you to the Ancient Guanyin Temple. An area which you won’t be able to access once you have defeated the Elder Jinchi boss so ensure you loot the Guanyin’s Prayer Beads from the middle chest. Counts towards Temple of Taint.
Guanyin's Prayer Beads
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Ancient Guanyin Temple, Grand Chamber.
Look to the right of the Grand Chamber shrine and loot the middle of the 3 chests before defeating the Elder Jinchi boss to receive the Guanyin’s Prayer Beads. Counts towards Mantled with Might.
Elder Jinchi
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Ancient Guanyin Temple, Grand Chamber.
Climb the stairs when you’re ready to take on the Elder Jinchi boss who can be tough as half way through the Elder Jinchi will raise up and his acolytes will walk towards him and when they get close they will heal him so kill them quick. Counts towards Temple of Taint. Refer to the Elder Jinchi boss guide.
Fireproof Mantle
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Marsh of White Mist.
Once you have defeated Elder Jinchi you will be back at the site of the 3rd Bell. Look up to your left and interact with the hanging Corpse to receive the Fireproof Mantle Vessel.
Craft Bronze Monkey Mask
Location: Black Wind Mountain, any Shrine.
Craft the Bronze Monkey Mask at the Shrine once you have defeated Elder Jinchi. Counts towards Mantled with Might.
Craft Bronze Brocade Battlerobe
Location: Black Wind Mountain, any Shrine.
Craft the Bronze Brocade Battlerobe at any Shrine once you have defeated Elder Jinchi. Counts towards Mantled with Might.
Craft Bronze Armguard
Location: Black Wind Mountain, any Shrine.
Craft the Bronze Armguard at any Shrine once you have defeated Elder Jinchi. Counts towards Mantled with Might.
Craft Bronze Buskins
Location: Black Wind Mountain, any Shrine.
Craft the Bronze Buskins at any Shrine once you have defeated Elder Jinchi. Counts towards Mantled with Might.
Meditation Spot 3
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Marsh of White Mist.
Go through the tunnel to the fork in the road where you can either go right up the stairs and continue the story, however, if you go left you can go along the wooden walkway where you will find the Meditation Spot at the end over looking the Jungle below. Counts towards Scenic Seeker.
Celestial Taiyi Pill
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Marsh of White Mist.
Once you have Meditated at Meditation Spot 3 turn around at loot the chest on the table to receive the Celestial Taiyi Pill.
Black Wind King
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Black Wind Cave, Cave Interior.
Defeat the mandatory Black Wind King boss. Refer to the Black Wind King boss guide.
Cloud Step
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Black Wind Cave, Cave Interior.
You will receive the Cloud Step Alteration spell once the Black Wind King boss has been defeated.
Awakening Wine Worm
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Black Wind Cave, Cave Interior.
Take out the Black Wind King boss then go over to the left side of the boss arena and smash the urn with the golden glow to receive the Awakening Wine Worm.
Agate Jar Curios
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Black Wind Cave, Cave Interior.
Once the Black Wind King boss has been defeated go forward just outside the arena then loot the small chest on the table to the left to receive the Agate Jar Curios. Counts towards A Curious Collection.
Wolf Assassin
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Black Wind Cave, Outside the Cave.
Cross the wooden bridge then take out the Archers on the upper level as well as the Bullguard. Use a heavy jumping attack to get on the platform on the left side to deal with the Archer. With everything in the local area dead, go back to the wooden bridge and drop down to the left side where the chest can be seen. Get ready for the Wolf Assassin to ambush you and defeat it ensuring you collect the Wolf Assassin Spirit after the fight.
Celestial Nonary Pill
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Black Wind Cave, Outside the Cave.
Go up the hill having taken down the Archers and Bullguard where you will come to a small altar on the left to find a chest you can loot to receive the Celestial Nonary Pill.
Black Bear Guai
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Black Wind Cave, Bodhi Peak.
Defeat the Black Bear Guai boss who, once defeated will conclude Chapter 1. Refer to the Black Bear Guai boss guide.
Craving Eyes Relic
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Black Wind Cave, Bodhi Peak.
You will receive the Craving Eyes Relic during the cutscene once Chapter 1 has been concluded.
