Riptide GP2 Skills
Here we will go over the Riptide GP2 Skills which are performable by pressing a combination of left and right sticks on your controller in a certain order, land the Skill and you’ll be rewarded with Boost. Fail and you’ll be rewarded with a face full of nothing but water.

Skills play a vital role in Riptide GP2 as they reward you with Boost once you successfully land them and they’re also required for scoring points in Freestyle events. You will have access to all Level 1 Skills from the start of the game then as you level up you will receive Skill Points which you can go into the Skills menu and purchase new skills with thus increasing your efficiency throughout the events. Just be sure to land the skills which you’ll only know how to do by practicing.
Skills
There are a total of 5 levels of skills to learn each with their level requirements to unlock and they are:
Level 1 Skills
The Level 1 Skills are available from the start of the game and they are:
- Bar Hop.
- Superman.
- Can Can.
- Front Flip.
- Back Flip.
- Tabletop.
Level 2 Skills
The Level 2 Skills you can unlock all cost 1 Skill Point a piece and are:
Premium gamer mugs, dishwasher safe, free delivery.
Shop For Your Mug Now- Boost 1.
Add 0.25 seconds to the boost meter for all stunts. - Lazyboy.
- Rock Star.
- Handstand.
- Hand Surfer.
- 720.
- Double Front Flip.
- Double Back Flip.
Level 5 Skills
The Level 5 Skills you can unlock all cost 2 Skill Points with the exception of the first Skill and they are:
- Agility 1.
Allows landing a stunt early by 0.15 seconds. - Boost 2.
Adds 0.5 seconds to the boost meter for all stunts. - Windmill.
- Knuckle Dragger.
- Skydiver.
- Take That.
- Death Wish.
- Orbital.
- Praying Mantis.
- Corkscrew.
- Back Scratcher.
Level 10 Skills
The Level 10 Skills you can unlock will cost more Skill points than any other tier but these Skills are insane. Ensure you get some decent air before attempting some of these and they are:
- Agility 2.
Allows landing a stunt early by 0.25 seconds. - Boost 3.
Adds 0.75 seconds to the boost meter for all stunts. - Mad Monkey.
- Jungle Gym.
- Tornado.
Level 15 Skill
There is only 1 Level 15 Skill which is there to increase your Boost even further and it costs 4 Skill Points to unlock:
- Boost 4.
Adds 1 second to the boost meter for all stunts.
