The Walker of Illusions is a very powerful boss who you will need to defeat once you have made your way up through the building from the Collapsed Street Stargazer. Take out or run pass the cane wielding enemies and the gun-puppet then kill the self immolating male where you can then kick the ladder down creating a shortcut straight back to the Stargazer.
Climb the ladder to come to a decent sized room which has the Walker bathing under some sort of light. Get some heavy attacks in as she is activating then get ready to back away as she starts her assault with knife and machete attacks that come at you hard and fast.
This boss can end your run very quickly with powerful combos that are hard to get out of it you get caught early, a particularly nasty stabbing attack where she lifts you before stabbing you in the chest multiple times, lunging attacks and a nasty pounce attack you need to dodge to the side to avoid.
Every so often the Walker will shimmer then morph into 2 bosses, the weaker of the 2 will hit just as hard as the main boss and needs to be put down as a priority whilst staying away from the main boss as she will emit Disruption and if you remember that status from earlier in the game if your Disruption meter fills, you die.

Work on the Walker when she has finished a combo then back away. If you have fast weapon(s) equipped then go for heavy attacks but larger heavy hitting weaponry will be to slow in charging an attack before she is on you again so ensure you are geared appropriately. This fight is a test of your skills before you go into the end game as there are no summons available.
You need to put her down so use any throwables you have bearing in mind after you kill her all fast travel will be turned off and you have a much tougher boss coming up who is weak to fire so use everything you have against the Walker that is either Acid, Electric or Neutral, use your Fable Arts and build up to a Fatal Blow until you manage to bring this screaming Illusion down for good.
