Earn 100% completion.

Here is the Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Remastered Trophy Guide which will help you earn 100% completion which will be a lot easier said than done as you have more requirements for 100% completion than any other GTA game to date. Fortunately. you won’t need to do everything in the game as the requirements suggest, achieving 100% for the purposes of unlocking Remastered will, however, require you to do specific elements of the game to their conclusion which can be worked through as long as you are far enough through the story and have access to all 3 islands, Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas.

The requirements you need to meet to attain 100% completion are:

Safe to say you have a lot to do so below I will give you a brief overview of what you need to do then link into each requirements guide to help you with everything you need. Given the complexity, some of these guides will link off into other guides but it’s all designed to help you work towards 100% completion smoothly.

Complete The Story

The main story is only a small part of San Andreas which will see you needing to complete all 96 story missions, now there isn’t a differentiation between story missions and NPC missions so keep pushing through the game completing any and all missions which become available until you roll the credits.

Refer to the Grand Theft Auto San Andreas story missions for a list of all required missions to conclude the story whilst also working towards unlocking Remastered.

Complete Vehicle Missions

There are several vehicle missions you need to complete in San Andreas most of which need to be completed in specific vehicles and become available as you progress through the story.

Refer to the Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Vehicle Missions for a look at everything you need to unlock some hefty rewards.

Unlock Fighting Styles

CJ can learn new fighting styles as you progress through San Andreas, however, you will have some work to do before you can learn the new techniques. There are 3 fighting styles in the game to learn at each of the 3 gyms in the game by taking down the leader of the gym in hand to hand combat.

Refer to the Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Fighting Styles for a guide on how to find, engage and defeat all 3 Master’s which you need to do as you work towards unlocking Remastered.

Collectibles

To achieve 100% completion you will have to collect 4 sets of collectibles, one for each of the 3 main areas then 1 final collectible set which can be found around San Andreas’ map. Completing each set of collectibles will give you different rewards and given the fact there are 250 collectibles for you to acquire this will take a good amount of time.

Refer to the Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Collectibles for everything you need to find every collectible which will put you 4 steps closer to unlocking Remastered.

Purchasable Properties

There are a total of 35 properties spread across the 5 main areas in the game, 8 are acquired throughout the main story leaving 27 to purchase. As you work towards unlocking Remastered you will need to own a total of 29 properties so refer to the Purchasable Properties guide for how to buy every property in the game.

Complete Vehicle Schools

There are 4 Vehicle schools in San Andreas all of which are accessible once you have completed the main story and for them to be considered completed you need to earn at least a bronze throughout each of the challenges. The four schools you need to complete are:

  1. Driving School which is found in Doherty, San Fierro.
  2. Boat School which is found in Bayside Marina, San Fierro.
  3. Bike School which is found in Blackfield, Las Venturas.
  4. Flight School which is found in Verdant Meadows Airfield, Las Venturas.

Complete all 4 vehicles schools to be one step closer towards unlocking Remastered.

Win Races

Races play a fairly important part in San Andreas as you need to complete several of them throughout the main story. You also need to complete the outstanding ones as you work towards unlock Remastered. The races are found throughout 3 main regions in San Andreas which are:

  1. Los Santos which holds 9 races.
  2. San Fierro which holds 6 races.
  3. Las Venturas which holds 4 races.
  4. Las Venturas Airport which holds 6 air races.

You will need to win the events taking first place. Any other placement won’t count, however, you will be able to replay a race any number of times which will be beneficial if you are struggling to re-run a race several times learning the course which will make it easier to take the win eventually.

Own Businesses

There are 3 main businesses you need to own as you work towards unlocking Remastered which are:

  1. Zero’s RC Shop.
  2. Wang Cars.
  3. Verdant Meadows Airfield.

You will acquire all 3 business by completing specific missions throughout both the San Fierro and Las Venturas regions of which you can find guides for here:

Clear The Export Lists

As you make your way through San Fierro you will gain access to the import / export list at the docks which tasks you with finding, safely delivering then placing certain cars onto a container ship where you will be rewarded for your efforts. There are 3 lists in total with each of them holding 10 cars of varying rarity. Refer to the A Legitimate Business trophy guide for the vehicles required.

Complete Ammu-Nation Challenges

Go to Ammu-Nation any time after you have completed the main story as the challenges unlock through story progressions then go into the back room to find a firing range. Stand in the marker then choose one of the following challenges:

  • Pistol.
  • SMG.
  • Shotgun.
  • AK-47.

Each of the challenges will see you needing to work through 3 rounds of increasingly difficult usually moving targets most of which need shooting. to score highly enough to beat the required score. You are free to replay the challenges as many times as you need to which, like most other elements in the game will help you learn the patterns and locations which will improve your score.

Win Stadium Races

There are 3 stadiums which hold 4 events you need to win and they can be tricky given the aggressive nature of your opponents as well as the lack of armour your car will have. You essentially need to drive around a ring taking first place or eliminating your opponents before they kill you.

The 4 stadiums you can find and their events are:

  • Los Santos:
    • 8-Track.
  • San Fierro:
    • Blood Ring.
  • Las Venturas:
    • Dirt Track.
    • Kickstart.

You need to take first place in each of the 4 events for your progress to count towards unlock Remastered.

Complete Delivery Missions

Delivery missions can be found throughout 4 of the 5 main regions of San Andreas which are:

  1. Los Santos.
  2. The Countryside.
  3. San Fierro.
  4. Las Venturas.

During a delivery mission you will be doing what you would expect, delivering goods or items in a variety of ways with a time limit set so moving quickly is fairly essential here. The delivery missions you need to complete as you work towards unlocking Remastered are:

  • Los Santos, Roboi’s Food Mart.
Delivery every item in your inventory within the time limit.
  • The Countryside: RS Haul.
Deliver the cargo across 8 levels of increasing difficulty.
  • San Fierro: Hippy Shopper.
Drop packages off on a chopper through 4 levels with a decreasing time limit.
  • San Fierro: Valet Parking.
Park cars in the underground car-park then get topside so you don’t miss the next one across 5 levels of more and more cars to park.
  • Las Venturas: Burger Shot.
Make deliveries with a decreasing time limit across the largest section of the game.
  • Las Venturas: Quarry Dump.
Clear and dump various items and obstacles using various plant machinery through missions with decreasing time limits and increasing risks.

Complete Hidden Challenges

Hidden challenges can be found throughout San Andreas at specific places and at specific times. There are 5 in total with all of them needing to be completed before they will count towards unlocking Remastered. Be warned though, these hidden challenges are legitimately some of the toughest challenges in the game as 4 of the 5 require you to have a very high if not maxed out cycling skill. That alone can take a good few hours of high speed, near miss bunny hopping cycling to increase.

Once you’re comfortable you are very proficient on a bicycle and you have a very high skill in game you’re then free to go and begin these challenges. The 5th challenge is on the fastest bike in the game, the NRG-500 so you will also need a very high bike skill to stand a chance of meeting the requirements.

The hidden challenges, their requirements and a brief look at what’s required are as follows:

  • Los Santos: BMX Challenge.
You will need a very high cycling skill here as you need to bunny hop high enough to reach some of the checkpoints and that’s not possible with a low cycling skill. Work through the course getting every checkpoint then landing smoothly without falling off too many times to meet the time required. This can be a highly frustrating challenge to beat so don’t be surprised if it takes you many attempts to come away with the win.
  • Mount Chiliad: Chiliad Challenge 1.
Make your way to the summit of Mount Chiliad where you will find a bike which you need to do between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00 in game. This will then begin a race down the mountain. You need to come first so fail as many times as you need to as you learn the course then take the win to unlock the next Chiliad Challenge.
  • Mount Chiliad: Chiliad Challenge 2.
Follow the same requirements as you did for the first challenge except this route has tighter turns and more drops. Take the win to unlock the third and final Chiliad Challenge.
  • Mount Chiliad: Chiliad Challenge 3.
Again, follow the same requirements as you did for the previous 3 challenges whilst noting this one can be tough as you have a fast, narrow, twisty path to take and the other cyclists can easily power through. Take the win to conclude the Chiliad Challenges.
  • San Fierro: NRG-500 Challenge.
Get on the NRG-500 at the San Fierro docks then work your way through the checkpoints. This challenge can be very tough given the power of the bike. Go through the easier checkpoints first then work on the harder ones focusing on speed and angle to avoid falling off the bike as this challenge has a stricter limit than most other challenges in the game. Clear every checkpoint in the required time to successfully complete the NRG-500 challenge.

That’s the Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Remastered (the Definitive Edition) trophy guide complete, I hope it helped you attain 100% completion.
