Once you have completed the Subterfuge at the Abandoned Shrine Story Mission in the Heian Era you can then speak to Minamoto no Yoshitsune and go off and find the 3 parts of Benkei’s Scroll which have been broken down into 3 parts which are:
Benkei's Hidden Scroll-Top
Head South from the Gojo Bridge Shrine where you started the Thoughts Bequeathed Myth in the Hachijo Region then take out the Lesser Umi-Bozu, the 2 Bakegani and the Mermaid without falling into the water then go right before the next section of bridge to a small cut out. Inside the gap will be a small black chest you can open to receive the Top of Benkei’s Scroll.
Benkei's Hidden Scroll-Middle
Go down the stairs and take a right from the Awawa no Tsuji Tacchi Gate Shrine and take a right and right again before going to the back building pass the Jailers. Go through the building and out of the gap in the right side wall then look left to see the small black chest which holds the Middle of Benkei’s Scroll.
Benkei's Hidden Scroll-Bottom
Fight your way to and then up through the temple as you would as part of the main story in Rokuhara from the Yasaka Shrine: Nishiro Gate Shrine then once you’re out on the walkway on the second floor, drop down and dash through the icicles in the wall on your right as you face the Aberrant Soldier. Go behind the Hot Spring and open the small black chest for the Bottom of Benkei’s Scroll.

Shop For Your Mug NowWith the 3 Scroll Pieces found, return to Minamoto no Yoshitsune who clearly hasn’t been as much searching as he might have done to then spawn in a series of Yokai including a Magatsu Warrior Boss. Take care to not fall off the platform as some of the attacks can send you flying back especially if you’re aerial when they hit. With the Yokai all dead, speak to Minamoto no Yoshitsune to complete the Myth.
