The Apparition of Ryotan Temple is a Sub Mission which becomes available at the same time as you work through the Fated Land Myth in Iinoya with Li Naotora and is essentially the same as the Myth except for the fact the Apparition of Ryotan Temple can be replayed at the Battle Scroll where as the Myth is a one and done mission.
Head through the grounds taking out all of the Yokai as you go including the Magatsu Warrior in the dojo. Head out through the gardens and climb the ladder when safe to do so, drop down into the gardens and push through to the upper Temple. Defeat the Ryomen Sukuna boss to finish off the Sub Mission.
