Here is the NIOH 3 Kodama Leader trophy guide which will help you find all of the Kodama scattered throughout the game of which there are 92 to be returned to the Shrines.

Kodama are green Sprites who can be collected by clearing the local area of aggro’d enemies then holding R1 to collect the Kodama as long as they aren’t hiding in their hats. You will then receive Kodama Merit which you can use at a Shrine to activate a Kodama Blessing increasing Elixir drop rate / efficacy so these little dudes are well worth sniffing out.
As you make your way through NIOH 3 certain areas will be locked off either behind Myths or Story Progression so I recommend doing everything in a given Era then leaving the Kodama for last that way you’ll ensure all required paths are open.
Kodama
The 92 Kodama in NIOH 3 can be found throughout the 3 main Eras, there are no Kodama in a Crucible as the area would probably burn their feet or boil them in their cups which is a grim thought. That said though these little dudes are well worth sniffing out and sending back to the the Shrine which you can do across the following 3 Eras:

There are an impressive 50 Kodama for you to find throughout the first main Era of NIOH 3: 1572 CE Warring States and to do so you will need to progress all the way through to the area just before the Warring States’ final boss. 1190 CE Heian Kodama
There are 20 Kodama for you to find throughout the second main Era of NIOH 3: 1190 CE Heian some of which are through some fairly tough areas so level up a bit if you’re struggling. Refer to the NIOH 3 1190 CE Heian Kodama guide for a look at where all 20 Kodama can be found.
1864 CE Bakumatsu Kodama
The remaining 22 Kodama are found in the third main Era of NIOH 3: 1864 CE Bakumatsu and before you can find them all you firstly need to clear the third Crucible as well as a couple of Sub Missions none of which are an easy time of it.
