The Depicting the Tiger of Kai Myth is a strange one as you need to take down 3 main story bosses throughout the Warring States and if you begin the Myth before, during or after all 3 have been defeated you will still have the same outcome. Speak to the Ghost on the hill by the Silver Grass Meadow Shrine and go off to kill Baba Nobuhara in the Mirage Fortress Mission in Futamata to receive the Demon of Mino’s Charm.
Return to the Ghost and hand him the Charm then wait for the marker to update to Northern Mikatagahara where you then need to bring down Takeda Shingen in the A Fiery Invasion Crucible to receive the Shingen’s Fan you need to take back to the Ghost once the cut scenes are done.
Finally, you will need to find a deeper connection to Takeda Shingen which you can do by beginning the final mission in the Warring States Era called Tiger’s Cause which sees you going through Saigagake in Mikatagahara.
Rest at the Rear Approach Shrine which is the final shrine in the Warring States, continue along the path then take a right taking out the Kyokotsu then collect the item on the upper left altar which is the Takeda Sake Bottle. You can take the Sake Bottle back to the Ghost in the Silver Grass Meadow who will then teach you the techniques he has been holding on to which then concludes the Depicting the Tiger of Kai Myth.
