Six Jizo are stone monuments dedicated to 6 legendary Monks and you pray at them similarly to how you would pray at a Shrine. Some Jizo will require you to make offerings to them where as others need to be rebuilt before they can be used.
When you pray at a Six Jizo you will receive a new currency called Jizo Merit which you can use to unlock special blessings at the Shrines similar to the way you unlock Kodama Blessings except these Jizo Blessing appear to be primarily focused around the Crucible increasing things like melee damage and Elixir drop rate which, if you have been to the Crucible I won’t need to tell you how valuable increasing these stats can be. Below I will list off all of the Six Jizo you can find in the Heian Era in the order the Districts are levelled to.
Six Jizo Statues
There are 7 Six Jizo Statues you need to pray at throughout the 1864 CE-Bakumatsu Era. which are found across the following districts:

Closest Shrine: Shichijo, Karasuma Shichijo.

Go North and East from the Karasuma Shichijo Shrine in the Shichijo region into the Shijo region through the Gaki encampment which you can do after clearing the first Crucible in the Accursed Temple story mission. Go to the edge of the abyss and make an offering of 1 Gold to the Six Jizo Statue which you can then pray at.
Shirakawa
Shirakawa is a level 123 District in the North East of the Bakumatsu Era and one which holds the following Six Jizo Statue:
Gion Alley Statue
Closest Shrine: Shirakawa, Gion Alley.
Rewards: Jizo Merit x450.
Head East down the path from the Gion Alley Shrine where you will come to the Six Jizo Statue jus ton the left of the path. Make an offering of 1 Gold which may then spawn a Mujina, if it does, either copy the Gesture or kill it in combat to be able to pray at the Six Jizo Statue.
Kiyomizu
Kiyomizu is a level 124 District in the South East of the Bakumatsu Era and one which holds the following Six Jizo Statue:
Dilapidated Temple Statue
Closest Shrine: Kiyomizu, Dilapidated Temple.
Rewards: Jizo Merit x450.
Rest at the Dilapidated Temple Shrine then go East and North across the bridge, go left over to the raised ledge where the Six Jizo Statue will be, however, before you can pray at it you firstly need to replace the head. Kill the Konaki-Jiji near the Statue then go around the back of the rocks the Statue is pressed up against.
Kill the Shunobon if it aggros then use the Spirit Vein to get to the top of the rock killing the Crucible Wasps one of which will be a Crucible Wraith before dropping down to the ledge on your left. Pick up the head from the ledge then drop down to the ground below which may hurt so don’t fall down at critical health then place the head on the Statue. You are then free to pray at the Statue.
Mibu
Mibu is a level 128 District in the Western side of the Bakumatsu Era and one which holds the following 2 Six Jizo Statues:
Horikawa Market Statue
Closest Shrine: Nijo Castle, Horikawa Market.
Rewards: Jizo Merit x450.
Rest at the Horikawa Market Shrine in the South of the Nijo Castle region then head West into the Mibu region which you can do after clearing the Lesser Crucible in South West Nijo Castle. Take out or run through the Jailers to the Enemy Base which you can clear or leave just aim for the top right corner of the Base to the tunnel where you will then be safe from the Gatling Gun and the Soldiers very rarely follow you up here.
Kill any Soldiers who were brave enough to chase you noting they will count towards the total Enemy Base numbers then look right to see the Six Jizo Statue with one of the Monks missing his head. Go to the end of the path and look directly left to see the head behind some smashable bamboo you need to cut rather than dash through. Pick the head up which may or may not be a Mujina (gestures or combat to get rid of it) and place the head on the Statue back in the tunnel when you can. You are then able to pray at the Statue.
Mibu Temple-Main Gate Statue
Closest Shrine: Mibu, Mibu Temple-Main Gate.
Rewards: Jizo Merit x450.
Before you can even think about going near the Six Jizo Statue in the Mibu Temple you firstly need to have completed the Peerless Katana Myth for Takasugi Shinsaku where, once you have defeated Nagakura Shinpachi, you will be gifted the Mibu Temple Key.
Using the Mibu Temple Gate Key on the Mibu Temple entrance to the left of the Mibu Temple-Main Gate Shrine will then begin the Solitary Blade Sub Mission where you need to go through a lot of tough Samurai and Ninja where you can then defeat the ultimate Shinsengumi Samurai, Okita Soji.
Defeating Okita Soji here means he will not be present in the Scion of the Gods Crucible, which, if you haven’t been results in a back to back boss fight that is brutal. Go around to the back of the Mibu Temple where the Yagyo Soldier is then go straight killing the Ninja and the Samurai as you go. At the end of this path will be the Statue you can pray at.
Kyoto Imperial Palace
Kyoto Imperial Palace is a level 130 District in the North of the Bakumatsu Era and one which holds the following Six Jizo Statue:
Maruta Riverbed Statue
Closest Shrine: Kyoto Imperial Palace, Maruta Riverbed.
Rewards: Jizo Merit x450.
Head East from the Maruta Riverbed Shrine to the main street which has 3 Cannon operators at the end and I don’t recommend you go down there unless you’re very good at dodging artillery. Instea, go through the small cut out in the left wall and into the Soldier Camp. Whilst there are a good few Soldiers in here they don’t hit as hard as cannonballs so kill them and go out the top left exit as you came in and go back towards where the Cannon operators are.
Kill the Cannoneers then jump up to your left following the path along to the end taking out any Soldiers who are chasing you down. Once you get to the higher level of the path, make an offering at the box of 1 Gold then pray at what should be if you have followed along with the guides, the final Six Jizo Statue.
That’s how to find all 7 of the NIOH 3 1864 Bakumatsu Six Jizo Statues, how did you get on finding them all?.
