Here we are, at the end of the game. You have come through hell as a gamer to get here and this is where the story ends and you can bring down the big bad of the World. So get your best gear equipped on a build that is slightly heavy at best then go through the gate when you’re ready. Initially Simon will swing his mace at you with good range and fairly decent damage as well as jump up in the air with a charged very hard hitting slam attack which is fairly simple to dodge as it doesn’t do a large AOE when he lands.
The main problem Simon has is the fact he has such a large body and high range, if you get in close then the majority of his attacks won’t do that much damage to you. If you try staying away then he can punish but up close, he’s open with little defence and considered this is a melee based game you can unleash high amounts of damage throughout the first phase.

Shop For Your Mug NowDuring the second phase, that’s where we meet the final boss and one where you can die in an instant if you are short on stamina or have a heavier build as you will be pelted with high amounts of Disruption inflicting damage and plenty of it which, considering how fast it comes at you needs to be dodged rather than parried.
Combine the Disruption status with Simon now employing large Electrical AOE blasts in an attempt to slow you down and stagger you and you may have a tough time here. You can, of course, summon a Spectre at the crack’s calling and it may be personal preference but this fight is no where near as difficult as the Laxasia the Complete which felt more like a final boss than Simon does.
Some of Simon’s more formidable attacks come in the form of shockwaves and a nasty energy blast he plants then leaves to build up which can easily finish you off if you’re low on health.
His attacks will hit a lot harder than the first half but as long as you manage your surroundings and keep an eye on the Disruption which poses the largest threat here you will be able to get in there and deal decent damage. This fight would have been a lot more challenging if his mace attacks inflicted shock whereby your stamina then struggles to regenerate. As a gamer, I wanted more from this fight. As a guide writer, I’m glad it wasn’t a thing.
Avoid the slams, swipes, jumps and electric blasts then get in there and punish him through his long recovery time utilising Fable Arts and Fatal Blows if you can stagger him whilst avoiding those Disruption blasts to take the win.
